After 2 1/2 years the braces finally came off.

Bryce played baseball again this year. He was there main pitcher. It always fun to watch my kids play sports.

Dereks senior year of basketball. It was one of the hardest years we have had with Derek playing ball.   But throught it all Derek had the best attitude.  Great job D.

 I started thinking about how i am always taking pictures and then never really doing anything with them, so i decided it would be fun to learn how to digital scrapbook. Since learning how i have done almost nothing else. It is really fun.  I can also put them on my blog so my family and friends can see what the Nymans are doing.  Here are a few pages. I will be sending many more.

Most of you know Abbey is our little performer. This year she tried out for a part in her school play Alice in Wonderland. She ended up getting one of the leads. ALICE  There are so many kids who try out for the play they had 5 Alices.  Abbey loved every minute (and the attention) of the play.

 Layton High School Basketball Seniors

Abbey was in the schools play Alice in Wonderland. She absolutly love every minute of it. She was 1 of the five Alices. Alice #2 

 

Bryce ran in his very first 5k run. There were about 350 runners and he came in 45th. pretty good for never running before. He also got extra credit in PE for doing it.  Great job Bryce.

Derek played basketball at the salt lake community college in front of a bunch of Jr. college basketball coaches. He had a great time. He is #48

I have some great friends who decorated my yard/driveway for my birthday. They were trying to be sneaky and do this in the middle of the night. Well they decorated the wrong house. How funny it was to wake up with a message from my neighbor saying to come look at her house. I love it!

summer gone

You know when school starts summer is over. I love summer. Warm weather, no homework, just hanging out. Summers are great. BUT after 3 month of kids arguing, watching a lot of TV, and mowing the lawn every 3 days I am ready for school and for fall. I can't believe my kids are so big. Derek is a senior, Bryce is a freshman, and Abbey is in 5th grade. They grew up fast. Where does the time go? 

We had a great rain storm the other day. I took this picture out side my front door.

On August 31 we went to the open house of the Brigham City Temple. It was very pretty. But when are temples not pretty. We then went to get ice cream. It was a great day. Derek a little camera shy.

What a fun week we had. Bryce turned 15 and got his drivers permit. He was very excited.  Two teenage drivers, I may never get a car ever again.

Bryce also finished his eagle project he painted fire hyraids. He had 27 young men and leaders help him they were done it 2 hours. It was great.

more camping

During the summers the boys seem to go on a lot of camping trips. Every year Evan dad plans a trip up to the uintahs. Usually it is just for the boys. This year abbey was invited to go. she was a little nervous to go since she had never been camping before. She had the best time. she caught her first fish and cooked it over the fire and ate it. Ron took up his 4 wheeler which Derek loves riding. I guess Bryce got the award for the most fish. They tell me he was catching them like crazy. 

Derek, David and Spencer decided to get into this creek and show off how tuff they really are. Evan said the water was freesing cold.
